Logan Holt of Creedmoor, NC Wins B.A.S.S. Southern Divisional Junior Championship!  Advances to Junior World Championship.

Rob Digh of Denver, NC finishes Second in the Pro Division and advances to Shreve Port Louisiana for a shot at a National Championship and a BASS Master CLASSIC Berth!

LaGrange GA — Logan Holt of Creedmoor, N.C., topped the 15-18 age group with five bass weighing 13 pounds. This young angler will advance to the Bassmasters World Championship to be held in conjunction with the Federation Nation Championship in October.  Logan is a member of the Sandy Creek Bass Masters youth club. This was Logan’s second attempt at the Southern Divisional Championship and he made the best of it. None of this would have been possible without their boat captain Bob Bauer, NC’s Youth Director.  Bob, Thanks for all your hard work on this.

Rob Digh of Denver, NC, weighed-in a three day limit of 15 bass weighing 37 Pounds 3 ounces to take first place honors on the North Carolina Team advancing him to the BASS Federation Nation National Championship, and a shot at the ultimate reward, a BASS MASTER CLASSIC BERTH! Rob held the top spot in the tournament on the final day with one competitor remaining. Brandon Card of Kentucky edged Rob out to take the title. Congratulations Rob!!

The 2010 NC BASS Federation Nation team pulled off another last day of heroics. Down by 40 pounds and in 5th place going into the last day of competition, The NC team made up big ground again out pacing Florida and Georgia to move up to the 3rd spot. The team won $6,000 for its third place finish. The team rallied by catching the largest single day weight of the competition of 98 pounds of bass. Rob Digh, Darrell Hager and junior angler Logan Holt led the charge!
